Hello Internet!
Does the world need yet another blog site? Nope, but I needed one. I tend to remember my notes better when I write them down. Github's gists was a good place to start, but I do prefer a more user friendly way to read back on what I wrote.
I enjoy web development, even when it moves at a break neck speed. For almost 5 years I worked and lived in Toronto, working for different organizations. I like solving problems and writing code but instead of creating yet another custom blog I decided to use google sites.
Why didn't I use the latest VueJS, React, or Angular hooked up to a server-less infrastructure to create a fully custom web-solution?
We are quite close to being able to create fully functional websites, by making drawings on paper, or a white board. Microsoft is experimenting with this technology as well.
So robots and AI seem to be taking my job away. It's okay, as this gives me more time to read and write. The whole point of the internet is to share information easily, so I am glad it has become this simple.
Cheers!
